Designed by industry experts, this course gives participants a substantive overview of the human-centered design process and offers opportunities to practice applying concepts from the course to a question centered around belonging and engagement in the workplace or a problem of your choosing.

How to frame and scope a problem with a human-centered lens
How to use frameworks like empathy interviewing, journey maps, How Might We statements and personas to define a problem and ideate solutions

Fast Field Scanning
Designed to help public sector professionals find what works with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) through fast field scanning. This will equip participants with the skills and tools to identify effective interventions, policies, and strategies and to do so with the communities they serve, the course will help to improve the quality of public services and deepen citizen engagement in government decision-making.
